This polished texture carries reserved but harmonious flavors of black cherry, black olive, fresh herb and licorice. Light tannins and balsamic acidity gives it sleek texture.
This is a wine, with a limited production, which reflects the most modern facet of Bodegas Balbás, breaking the rules in terms of its complexity and structure. It’s the result of a combination of Tempranillo and Merlot from a high-altitude estate with extreme conditions. The rigorous selection of the grapes, followed by meticulous extraction and ageing, gives this wine its harmonious but intense character.
Red Blend: 49% Garnatxa, 44% Syrah and 7% Samsó (Carinyena) Seductive deep garnet in color. On the nose it exhibits aromas of blackberry and blueberry followed by a fragrance of black licorice and ground coffee. On the palate it’s elegant with a silky texture due to its rounded tannins that give structure to the wine. Red ripe fruit juice stand out mingled with notes of herbs and toasted caramel which lingers.
