Charming brilliant cherry garnet color. It displays a symphony of seductive red ripe fruit aromas on the nose such as blueberries, wild cherries and redcurrants. Refreshing forest herbs notes reminiscent of rosemary and thyme with an exuberant violet aroma and a final flourish of toasted caramel. On the palate its pure seduction, fresh and vivid, as freshly squeezed red and black fruit juice. A subtle framework of rounded and elegant tannins provide body and structure. Coming from a single vineyard, the “Alice Block”, our 2013 Cabernet is a typical expression of the area and is instantly recognized with its distinctive Rutherford dust. Deep garnet in color with aromas of jammy blackberries and opulent dark plum and oak influences of nutmeg, cinnamon and clove round out the nose. The palate is supple, lush with flavors of black currant, tobacco, plum and dark chocolate, concluding with a lengthy, fruity finish.

The base of our Cabernet Sauvignon was made from fruit picked from a vineyard that was part of the original Galleron ranch of the 1890s. Located on the Rutherford Bench, these vines produce Cabernet Sauvignon that goes into some of the most famous Napa Valley wines. The 2014 cab has great color, aromas and flavors. It shows blackberry and red fruits, cassis, mocha, graphite and sweet oak spices. The structured “Rutherford dust” tannins give this wine its dense texture and expansive mouthfeel, while balanced acidity from the excellent growing season adds vibrancy.
