Appearance: Dark maroon colour.
Aroma: Ripe fruit, plum, blackberries and licorice aromas over the spicy background of the barrel.
Flavor: Great structure with rounded tannins and a long and persistent mid-palate.
The grapes used to produce this wine come from nearly 60-year old Tempranillo, Garna cha and Graciano vines. Grapes are hand- harvested in 15 kg plastic boxes.
Ageing: 14 months in new French and American oak
Pairs well to beef, lamb, fatty pork, game, goose, and even tuna steaks. Enjoy it also with a rich beef stew or grilled lamb or pork chops.
